How Long Do Genital Warts Last?
Are there any vaginal infections that cause, raised flesh tone bump clusters tha somethimes itch and and bleed if picked at…they’re kinda pebbly but they’re not that hard and there’s no hair right around the area or the clusters

sounds like herpes, might want to let a doctor check that out.
The answer that genital warts is a virus and you have it forever is NOT true. Also known as HPV, the virus is confirmed thru a pap smear and then the doctor will follow up by doing a “freezing of the cervix.” Then, a repeat pap smear is done when your cervix has had a chance to heal. Now, if it is herpes, it will be there forever but you will have reoccurant outbreaks. People vary in how often they break out. No matter what, you need to see a doctor for this.
Ok sweetie- Although everyone is trying to help you with their answers, some of the answers are not all the way correct. I know a lot about this, because I have had them also. First- genital warts is caused by hpv. It doesn’t really affect males, but they carry the virus. Sometimes even when you get tested for hpv, it will come up as a negative result, because it only shows when your body is shedding the virus. Kinda like a cold sore- you will always have the virus that causes cold sores, but only when the virus is shedding is when you will get a cold sore. Also, once you have hpv, you WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE VIRUS, but the warts can be removed. I have had the cream Aldera and it did not work for me. I also has acid put on them, but they came back after a few months. So you can also get them frozen off. Just talk to a doctor. I would suggest telling your mom, because it is serious and you could get cervical cancer from hpv. I had to have my cervix frozen already. Your health dept. will help you a little, they will give you the Aldera cream, but when u run out, you may still have warts and they usually won’t give you any more because it was free. So I suggest telling your mom, you will need to have an obgyn look at you. And you can also spread this very easily. Don’t pick them, they will spread and also shaving makes them spread. Some people only get warts on thier bottom ann vagina, but it’s even worse if they are on the inside of your anus or vagina. Please talk to your mother-she will probably understand.Or maybe you have an aunt or older sister. Well if u have any questions email me. Good Luck!
i had a friend that had warts and had them froze off and came back 2yrs later. once u have warts she told me the doc said u can get them back again they will keep forming until frozen off . herpes opens like a sore. also u can get clogged hair ducs that causes a bump. and u being 16 there should be a womens health clinic were it would be based on income and u would not hve 2 tell ur mom good luck. u said he was tested for warts unless u actually has a wart they can swab i dont think there is a way 2 test him
genital warts is a virus that once you have it it is there forever
Human Papilloma Virus, HPV, the virus that causes genital warts, is stubborn. You’ll have them for life (and give them to others) unless you get medical treatment. Many cities have free medical clinics that will give you confidential treatment. Look on Google for one near you. HPV can lead to cervical cancer. You can delay treatment (and be celibate, or use your hands for sex), but it’s not wise.
Go to your area health dept. free clinc. They can test you for Herpes or other STD’s. Free.
sounds like hpv .. and you have them a life time.
I had them when I was pregnant with my oldest twins who is now 26. I had gotten them from my husband at the time. I went to the Doctor, and he said they were the worst he had ever seen. I had to have them burnt and froze off. I do still have scaring, and still a couple of places, but they are not contagious now. My husband at the time, did not have any signs of having them, and I unfortunately got them. Believe me they did hurt!!! I thank God I had found a Doctor to take care of it. Good Luck to ya.
once you have them you will always have them for the rest of your life!
Vaginal warts are caused by a strain of the Human Papilloma Virus, or HPV. HPV is one of the most common std’s facing sexually active people today. For some women, HPV will clear on its own, for others it could develop into cervical cancer. You will need to see a Doctor, get a pap smear and confirm if you have HPV or not.
If you do currently have warts, they will not just go away, you have to have them removed (frozen usually) by a Doctor. If you do not, the clusters will get bigger, so you really need to handle it.
okay mama for one you have genital warts…what ima need you to do is go to a doctor!!a real one…they’ll give you a cream…it burns like hell…but you use it for 4 days and then you dont use it…and they disappear but they aren’t gone they come back…if untreated they get worse and worse…i have a friend that has them..he wont go to the doctor and they keep spreading…now if they boy didnt have stds..im gone to need you to ask you doctor to check you for hpv…gential wards is a sign of hpv…which is cirvical cancer…the longer you wait for them to get treated the worse their going to get…did you actually see this boys paper work saying he didnt have any stds?its a serious risk…
