Cervical cancer type can cause cancer and genital warts left untreated can cause them to develop bigger and more or they can go away on there own.

Once a person becomes infected with HPV there’s no treatment to rid the body of the virus. However, both genital warts and cervical cancer resulting from infection with HPV can be treated.
For cervical cancer, a conization [cone biopsy] of the cervix, cryosurgery, or in most advanced cases an hysterectomy followed by chemotherapy can be used.
For genital warts, application of a topical cream {Aldara}, gel {Condylox}, laser removal or cryosurgery is usually done to treat the warts.
