I HAVE NOT ENGAGED IN INTERCOURSE YET I ACQUIRED GENITAL WARTS?
i havnt done it with anyone but i began to have genital warts (im a 17 yr old male by the way) it is just weird because all my research leads to genital warts as being a sexually transmitted disease…but i havnt done it so why do i have them? is it possible to have them and not be STD?

Genital Warts are caused by the Human Papiloma Virus, which is transmitted by sexual intercourse. Other ways of transmission are very unlikely. Are you circumcised? Is the skin of your penis dry? Do you wash everyday? If that is the case, probably the shaft has a small fungal infection, I would say, do not think it is Genital Warts, since you have not had sex and I guess you have not had any other kind of intimate contact with somebody else, then it must be something else. But, I would go to a clinic, just to make sure and treat the “warts.” They are generally cauliflowe-like shape. I also thought I had them but my doctor said that it was because of my circumsicion and dry skin and gave me aqueous cream and they have started fading…
It could very well be a molluscum virus commonly known as pox virus look it up on the net, though the chances of you having gential warts without sexual contact is next to none it is still possible to contract it via different means, thats the misconception about STD’s theres always some other way to catch them.
It sounds like you diagnosed yourself, which is a huge mistake.
See a doctor…there is treatment If you have them, which would be highly unlikely.
