I just had sex with someone who has HPV, i found out afterward, when is it a good time to take a test and get result? because someone said it doesnt show right away? Thanks!
I would suggest getting a pap smear with an HPV antibody test in about 3 months. Unless of course they have the “wart causing” strain , if you develop warts, see doctor immediately, so that you can get cream for them (it’s called Aldara cream). Good luck. One thing that sucks about HPV is that you can even get it, quite easily , if you use a condom, because it infects the skin around the genitals and not just the genitals. But don’t feel too bad if you end up with it, 3/4 women who are sexually active will have or have had HPV and sometimes you can clear it up on your own, and most of the time it doesn’t cause any problems as long as you get your PAP smears on time!
