Can A Cyst Mimic The Apperance Of Genital Warts (hpv) ?
Well i had sex wit a guy a week ago and he DID wear condom but i found a raised bump near my anal area.not trying to be nasty but thats where it was. Im scared that this is HPV but could it just be a cyst?? it is just a single raised bump but i read about hpv and it says it can also appear as a single bump =( help im scared =/

Well for starters, making him use a condom should eliminate these type of fears. Sounds to me like you have case of “Rub Rash” Well, Let tell you 1st that it takes a lot longer then a week for warts to show up. Warts tend to look like a clump of cauliflower! I mean EXACTLY like cauliflower. They can be spread by touching an infected area with the fingers. Did you notice any abnormalities on his junk? Did he touch you in the area where you found the bump? Did you see that he left the condom on the entire time? Some ASSHOLLES will turn a girl around a slip it off when she’s not looking. Keep an eye on it, If it is warts they will grow FAST! Is ever you notice it is looking like cauliflower GET TO THE DR. RIGHT AWAY! the sooner you get them removed the less scaring and pain you will have. Yes it could be HPV. Even though he wore a condom, condoms don’t cover all of the skin that you come in contact with during sex. HPV can be spread through skin to skin contact, so all it takes its a little unexposed skin. I would recommend that you schedule an appointment to get the bump tested before it disappears.

HPV doesn’t appear that quickly, it would take several more weeks. You must have a cyst or something else.
