Is There Any Other Way To Get Genital Warts Except Hpv And Herpes?

Posted in Uncategorized on Nov 10, 2009

No. All genital warts are caused by HPV. There are over 120 different kinds of HPV; about 30 or so are sexual transmitted and can cause genital warts, cervical cancer, and a few other cancers that are less common.
Herpes is NOT HPV. HPV (Human Papillomavirus) is a completely different virus and has nothing to do with herpes.
Herpes causes blister like sores that can open and puss. HPV doesn’t do this.http://www.cdc.gov/std/HPV/STDFact-HPV.h…

Hi there. Genital warts is only caused by the human papilloma virus. The herpes virus causes open sores like cold sores which are very painful.Technically all other skin warts are viral in nature and can appear on any part of the body. If you are in your early twenties or younger, try to get the Gardisil vaccine because it can help prevent possible cervical cancer in your life later which has also been linked to HPV. There are about 100 strains of the virus and not all strains cause genital warts. It appears that up to 95% of the population that is sexually active, has been exposed to HPV. Have a nice weekend.

Herpes has no relation to genital warts whatsoever. It’s a separate virus.
You can also get HPV by the infected organ (warts or no) touching your skin. Never lie naked and let sex organs touch your skin. You can get HPV that way. That’s how I got it.

Genital warts are a symptom of HPV. HPV causes gential warts. Not all strains of HPV causes gential warts however but that doesn’t mean the virus isn’t there.
