Talk to your doc about this. You’re right, getting rid of the virus that causes genital warts IS rare.

First off…you CAN fight it off/Surpress it…it IS possible…No medical facts on the virus clearing from your body but, if you keep up your immune system, exercise, eat healthy and take vitamins, herbs for immune system you’ll be fine. Your body needs antibodies to fight off the virus. I’ve had only one occurance of leisunes and that was last year. I’m not saying they won’t come back but, I’m doing everything in my power to make sure they won’t.
You can’t just sit there and expect them to dissapear, you got to do something about it.
Just think possitive, and be safe. =) There are more worst things out there than genital warts…know that HPV also causes the warts on your hands and feet and it’s very common.

Make sure you tell your partner and don’t tell them in a panic because it’s not bad. Warts can be removed! =) HPV is like a virus, like the flu, or chickenpox. All in time our body learns to surpress it by us keeping our immune system up! =)
Also you will have to explain this to all your future partners.
it’s not easy but, it’s not difficult if they really care about you and educate them on the virus. It’s not a big deal and only 1% of men have symptoms.
