both myself and my boyfriend of over 1 year both have genital warts. we’ve never had them before and we’ve never cheated on each other. (yes im sure!). i had an sti check-up before i met him and got the all clear so why do we both have them now?

Maybe the tests didn’t pick up the HPV (human papillomavirus: Genital warts) in you or your partner (assuming he had a check up).
