My Gynecologist Told Me That I Cannot Spread The Hpv That I Have Because I Have No Warts Is This True?

I agree with the poster above, your OB-GYN got it all wrong.
HPV is a viral infection. Viral infections are not curable and are contagious/infectious. Just like HIV and Herpes 1 & 2.
Because it is a viral infection, whether they had been frozed off or not visible to the eye, it is still transmittable. You HAVE TO inform your partners of this viral infection just like if you were to have HIV or Herpes 1 & 2. They all can be transmitted.
Please, find another gynocologist doctor to assist you on this situation. I do not why she would even think that! I would not feel comfortable with this doctor.

Yes, I dont know why your gyno would tell you that, that is just false information. HPV is a virus, and it will spread from saliva or bodily fluids, you dont have to have warts to pass the strain onto a person, they will still get hpv and warts associated with that strain.

If your GYN told you that …you need to find another one….This information is from the Center for Disease Control…maybe you should send this link to your GYN
Most infected persons do not realize they are infected or that they are passing the virus to a sex partner. http://helpforgenitalwarts.com/genital-warts-treatment/ "
