cuz i occasionally (like once every 3 months) get like a big pimple thing on my vagina, like on the outside though. I do shave and i know what ingrown hairs are and its not an ingrown hair, but im not sure if its HPV. so whats the difference?
I just found out today that I have genital warts for the first time. I have only slept with 2 people and I’m rather careful so this came to me as a big shock. I also may have cervical cancer. I just started treatment, but I want to know how long to wait before becoming sexually active again. Even after they clear, can I spread them to others? I have so many questions and I really didn’t get any answers from my doctor.
I hear 2 different sides. I know certain strands of HPV can lead to cervical cancer. And I’m also hearing that the strands of HPV that develop warts are not related to the strands that can cause cervical cancer, but then again i’m hearing people say the Genital Warts are directly related as a high risk for CC. Help!
My last pap came back abnormal with hpv high risk, I have a biopsy tomorrow. What are the chances of having cancer with hpv? Everyone is acting like its bad news but is it really all that bad? I mean how serious is it? Will the biopsy hurt?
If pap is normal but hpv virus is present in body .
I searched websites & also consulted gyn ,who suggested no treatment is available to get rid of hpv virus(sometimes body fights it off ) , just getting pap done regularly to watch abnormality . But there must be some remedies available to avoid abnormal cell development & getting hpv away.
