My 10 year old has an abundance of warts on her hands and feet. Warts are caused by HPV,which also has been known to be linked to cervical cancer. Should I be concerned with her history of warts ? Any body else discussed this with their family dr. ?
Ummmmmmmmm it’s permanent but you can avoid ever having outbreaks, avoid stressful situations, if they reoccur I don’t think they hurt as bad because I have had patients with that and they say it was really painful and sometimes not…. I’m not sure but as far as I know, it’s a virus and Viruses don’t die they hibernate and wait for stress.
my doctor said my cervix look abnormal, I had a pap smear done and also a biopsy. The results were this: BENIGN ENDOCERVICAL POLYP WITH FOCAL SQUAMOUS METAPLASIA AND SEVERE ACUTE AND CHRONIC INFLAMMATION. My doc said it was a benign cervical polyp which she already had removed, and that my cervix is healing. She also said that my tests didn’t show any signs of HPV but, that doesn’t mean I don’t have it, she says it might be dormant. She says the only thing I need to do is go back in a month to check if my cervix has healed completely and have pap smears done twice a year. Is there anything else I can do on my own, what can I so the HPV remains dormant if I have it. And anyone else who is a doctor or knows something about HPV can tell me what my results mean? Thanks
I saw someones question and they said that hpv can also cause genital warts. i was just wondering if that was true. for men or women.
He does not have any symptoms of having this std, and also once treated, is it still contagious meaning can I spread the std all over again.
