Help for Genital Warts

Turns out my fiance has them & will need to get them removed. He actually has anal warts – but insists he’s never had anal sex. One doctor (OBGYN since I am 18 weeks pregnant) I’ve spoke to said that that is possible to have the virus & warts to pop up ANYWHERE in the genital/ anal area. The dermatologist who is treating my fiance, however, says it is impossible unless skin to skin contact has been made. She further went on to say that he should probably be tested for other STD’s as well.
Can someone shed some light on this subject for me? Which doctor is right? Is it only through skin to skin contact, or does the virus cause warts to spontaneously appear?

Okay…I know the best answer to this question is: simply abstain from sex.
So I don’t need you to tell me that.
What I’m looking for is if there’s any way that I can minimize the chances of spreading the virus to my partner and still have sex.
I currently have HPV (the most common of all STDs) and it is manifesting itself as anal warts. The warts are entirely concentrated around my anus and are nowhere else (i.e. on my penis or scrotum or anywhere around it).
I understand that HPV can be spread through skin-to-skin contact. But what I don’t understand is: does that mean contact with any part of the skin in my genital region, including the parts that don’t have any warts (i.e. the penis), or does it only mean contact with the skin that has the warts on it (i.e. the anus)?
I’m sorry to ask such as gross question, but it’s kind of serious. I really dont want to spread this virus but I would also really like to be able to have sex with my partner.

I am a homosexual male, and I have recently got anal warts .. is there any way to get rid of them ? Or do I have to take medicine?
