HPV is detected by papsmears but doesnt that only check the cervical area how would the genycologist know if you get another type of cancer due to the HPV like anal, colon and others similar?
My girlfriend had mild to moderate cervical dysplasia caused by HPV, she had it froze off. The doctor never said anything about genital warts, she also got tested for stds. Is it possible that she could have the strain that causes genital warts and not know it. I have never seen any warts in her.
All i can find are the number of deaths caused by the HPV cervical cancer vaccination, Gardisil. What is the number of deaths per year caused by HPV?
..not just cervical cancer or the vaccination.
the doctor prescribed me a cream thats like 500 dollars and the time before i used this cream on another case of warts it made them worse..im just trying to find something safe and less exspensive.
I know that HPV causes genital warts, but can the genital warts be found anywhere else on the body besides the anus and mouth/throat? I also know that warts come from a variety of viruses, but if you have warts on your genitals, are they automatically caused from HPV, or are they tested for another viral strain? Does HPV strains include any wart that can be found in the genital area?
