Help for Genital Warts

I didnt know if having “Genital warts” and just simply having 1 wart is different or the same? I have had this one wart for a year and it is embarrasing and I have read that genital warts are extremely contagious..Should I use the same caution with this single wart I’ve had for a while. Also, I just attempted to cut it off. Im pretty sure I didnt successfully remove it but I did it to minimize the size to allow further efforts to take affect quicker (drug treatment). Please, serious input: Contagious, same as “genital warts”, further removal methods???

Are all forms of the HPV virus-both low and high risk- considered to be transient? In other words are the wart causing viruses, 11- and 6 considered to be transient in most cases? (Figures that I have heard range from 85% to 90% clearence rate within 24-36 months hpv) if these clearance rates are true for all forms of the virus, then is this from the date of onset of symptoms or is this thought to be from the date of contraction?
I am asking, as I have recently been diagnosed with genital warts–much to my anger and disgust with both myself and my ex-boyfriend. I am a 30 year old female that has had only 4 sexual partners; two of which were virginal. My 3rd partner cheated on me with an extremely permiscuous 20 yr old unprotected and failed to tell me–I found out a month after we had broken up. Long story short she had active hpv (warts at the time). Although we were never unprotected and slept together only once after he cheated, nine months later here I sit with an outbreak.8(

yeh.. dumb question but my friends been bothering me about it. Would it be considered a ‘gential wart’ if it was not transmitted sexually but through petting?

I’ve had warts in my pubic area for about, I’d say a little over a year. It started off with just one and now I’ve got three. The second that came out turning out to be the biggest one. Are all warts HPV? I’ve also had a wart on the inside of my leg higher than my knee for the longest time, but it doesn’t look nothing like the other ones. What do you’ll think?
