Help for Genital Warts

like if they didn’t kill the virus all the way?

I know someone who has ORAL HPV and is in the beginning stages of being treated for oral cancer. Can you contract ORAL HPV by sharing drinks or food?

I’m just curious, after getting the Gardasil vaccine, how likely is it that you can contract the HPV virus and Genital Warts?
I know that Gardasil doesn’t protect against all strands of HPV, but it does guard against the most common that cause the two…

so what are a woman’s odds of contracting either after having the vaccine for a few years or so?
Assuming that the Gardasil vaccine was given before the woman becomes sexually active, therefore, never being exposed to the HPV virus before.

My father-in-law’s wife of 22 years recently saw that she had an outreak of blisters ‘down there.’ She says she knew RIGHT AWAY it was herpes. She’s been suspecting my FIL of cheating for 3-4 yrs and when she saw the blisters flew into a rage, threw stuff at him and kicked him out and served him divorce papers. Next she went to the doc & it’s confirmed. It is genital herpes.
I’ve spoken with both and their stories each sound solid. My FIL swears up and down that he’s never cheated ad shows no signs of herpes. Even when my ‘quasi-hubby’ asked him & swore not to tell me or anyone if he had cheated.
I’m torn. Both stories sound 110% solid. It’s nuts.

Where both partners are virgins (100% sure) and only have ‘fooled around’.
Neither had presence of genital herpes symptoms until farther into the relationship.
Both have had cold sores (HSV-1).

Can you get genital herpes from masturbation. i.e. the transfer of HSV-1 into genital area creating HSV-2?
