Could Genital Herpes be deadly? I heard that it’s not severe as Hiv/Aids but I heard that you’ll never get rid of it and it could be the cause of your death.

More specifically, I’m curious about the necessity of the GARDASIL vaccine if neither my partner nor I have HPV, and we are only having sex with each other. My doctor has been pushing the issue of getting this vaccine the last two times I saw her, as if to ask me “Why would you NOT get it?” But I’m just not sure why I would need it… any clues or help?
