Help for Genital Warts

I’ve never had sex or even fooled around with a guy, but I was recently diagnosed with HPV/Genital Warts.
How is this even possible?
What are the other ways of getting this?

Absolutely! The virus can remain in the bloodstream as dormant until the immune system is down. Then you can get a breakout while the body is busy fighting other problems.
It’s an opportunistic virus which means it takes advantantage of the opportunity to attack when your body is at it’s weakest.

My best friend just had a baby and I held the baby before she got her first bath. My friend has HPV and warts. Could I have gotten HPV by holding and kissing the baby before her bath? My dr called and said my pap was abnormal and HPV is a possibility but I don’t know I could have gotten it. Please help?

i have never had sex with anyone. No one has ever touched my genital area except for myself. can anyone tell me why my doctor said that i have genital warts? could he have misdiagnosed it? the doctor just look at my genital a foot away for like 5 seconds and said that i got genital warts.

So I caught them in april or may and they started to show up in july. I went to the doctor. He acted like they were nothing to worry about and said that they were so small it was hard to tell. But Im pretty sure they are. They go away in a few days but honestly, what am I looking at here. Has anyone had them and seen them eventually go away. I will have a couple then nothing, then a week or so later one or two will show again. I know the virus doesn’t go away but Ive read that it can go to an untraceable level. So let me know if you have had experience or knew someone. Please keep your unhelpful comments to yourself. Thanks
