Help for Genital Warts

Just go and see your doctor, that’s the only honest answers you can get, as far as i know it, you’re baby will not be harmed in anyway.

Ugh, people really need to know what they are talking about before they answer!
Gardasil protects against 4 strains of HPV. Two of those strains cause 70% of cervical cancer and another 2 that cause 90% of genital warts. So you actually have more protection against warts than cancer.
So there is about a 90% chance you will not get it.
And condoms are NOT EFFECTIVE in protecting against HPV transmission. So you are at risk even if you have protected sex.

This is a serious problem PLEASE READ I desperately need someone’s advice, a doctor or nurse or someone PLEASE!!! I can’t make an appointment with my doctor until tomorrow.
I’m a female with HPV genital warts and I had eletrocautery (which burns the warts with a low-voltage electrified probe/needle). It’s a non-invasive surgery on the warts (which are mostly around the anus). I had this operation 6 days ago and I was given a topical antibacterial cream to put on the area 2 times a day.
The warts have gone away but there are “burn marks” I guess you could say, they are just flat surfaces of skin which have turned light yellow. There is no pus but my real problem is that there are 2-3 areas where the “burn mark” has CAVED IN, the actual skin has receded and made a little crater, hole-like thing. I’m really worried…it looks terribly and ugly and I’M SO SCARED. Is this an infection? Is it normal for the skin to be deforming itself like this?
I wash every day but now I have to clean the little “holes” out with a q-tip with rubbing alcohol on it. I’m so disgusted and troubled by this.
PLEASE ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED…HOW DO I KNOW IF IT’S INFECTED?

I have the high risk version of HPV which causes cancer and not genital warts. Whoever gave it to me didn’t know he had it. I wouldn’t have discovered it but for the fact that several years ago a condom broke and then my boyfriend told me he had contracted genital warts. So I went to the doctor to get checked.
The test indicated I already had HPV, but I I didn’t get the low risk HPV (genital warts) because I created antibodies when I caught the high risk HPV, whenever that might have been. Should I tell everyone I might have sex with that I have it? It is highly contagious.
They don’t know that it does anything to men, but 5% of all women with HPV will get cervical cancer. Also 70% of all cervical cancer is caused by this strain of HPV.
My friends and doctors say I don’t have to say anything because it doesn’t affect the men I may give it to and that all adults who have had more than two sex partner probably contracted a form of HPV. I think that is uncool.
