Can I get HPV if my husband and I were each others first?03.23.10

My husband and I were each others first partners. I am starting to think this is a rarity because I cannot find the answer to my question anywhere! Can I still be at risk of HPV?
My husband and I were each others first sexual partners. To make things clear.. I do NOT have an STD of any kind, and don’t have HPV (that I am aware of). I just saw an awareness ad and wondered if it was even possible to get one.

I’ve had a fever blister/cold sore for about 3 days ! Is my husband going to get genital herpes?
How will I know if he got it?

How long does it take to show up?

Do you get a blood test to confirm?

My Husband Recently Had Unprotected Sex With A Women Who Has Genital Warts, will I Get Them If We Have Sex?02.20.10

My initial question is why are you still with him? But, as a woman I know that we are in general nurturing and forgiving creatures, so at the same time, I understand…you should should be really careful about that…use preventive measures like condoms…they reduce the risk, but don’t completely protect you because the virus lives in the skin of the genital area, so either way you’re taking a chance…warts are an inconvenience, not that much of a health risk…it’s something common that has a negative stigma attached to it…if all else fails you will both just have them…in the mean time he could just keep his immune system at its peak…no smoking or drinking, lots of exercise and vitamins…this will help his immune system overcome the virus, reducing his viral load to undetectable levels…this will help you not contract the virus, and thus the warts, some physicians say that when the viral load is this low that the body has actually gotten rid of the disease…that’s still up for debate…
