Surgery Options For The Removal Of Genital Warts10.19.10

Surgery Options For The Removal Of Genital Warts

you have genital warts you will want to remove it at home, This is not a easy task and this requires a lot of patience. As the name says genital warts appear in very sensitive parts of the body – genitals and so one has to be very careful and safe so that the treatment does not affect the private parts of the body. The removal of genital warts has been practiced by many doctors, surgeons and even by many quacks who claim to be experts in removing genital warts.

Its very difficult to find good doctors or surgeons who know how to remove genital warts. You may also find many amateurs who pose as experts in removing genital warts. So, how will you know who is a genuine and good doctor or surgeon for genital warts? Well, the answer is quite simple, you can get references from friends or any family member who had been treated on genital warts. Half the work is done when you get reference from a known person, this saves you the time and energy of searching for a specialist.

Most of the doctors or surgeons will first try out genital wart medications for the removal of the genital warts. If the medications fail, then they may go in for other methods such as:
o Laser surgery
o Cryosurgery
o Electrocautery

The type of treatment that the doctor suggests may depend on the budget of the patient. Medications are the cheapest of all the treatments, but this takes a long time and needs a lot of patience. The medication treatment is much lower compared to the other treatments such as laser surgery, Cryosurgery, and Electrocautery.

Most of the doctors and surgeons suggest the laser surgery. In this method the doctors use lasers to cut off the genital warts. Most of the cases are successful in the laser method. When the genital warts are many and have spread to places where, it is hard to reach, then doctors will prefer the laser treatment.

The name laser surgery is feared by many because of the cutting properties of the laser beams. The main fear is that the laser beam might cut into the skin and cause damage, which is not the fact at all. The laser beams are so accurate that they cut the blood supply of the genital warts and do not damage the skin or the adjacent organs. After the laser treatment the patient recovers much faster when compared to the other surgical treatments.

The laser surgery has drawbacks too. The first drawback is that it is highly expensive when compared with the other treatments and the second drawback is that the laser treatments are painful and sometimes may leave a scare on the operated area.

Now days doctors and surgeons use the Cryosurgery method. The meaning of Cryo is derived from a Greek word which means ice cold. This method includes the freezing of genital warts to sub-zero temperatures. This temperature is attained using liquid nitrogen. The main idea is to kill the wart tissue by freezing it. This method ensures that the wart tissue is completely dies and prevents the growth further.

Another method that is used to treat warts is the Electrocautery method. In this method an eclectic current is used to kill the warts. This may scare you, but in fact this is true. The heated that is radiated from the electric current is so strong that it can burn the warts. This method is completely safe and does not involve much of pain or the patient. The doctor or surgeon who gives this kind of treatment, must not only be an expert but must also have a good knowledge on electronics.

If the patient who is suffering from genital warts does not want to undergo any operation, then the doctors give high doses of genital wart medication. The major drawback of these types of medications is the side effects. Most of the times, the side effects of the genital wart medications are bearable and don’t need much medical care. However, if the side effects cannot be tolerated, then it is imperative that the patient conveys it to the doctor.

HPV Treatment Options: Using a Natural HPV Treatment to Control HPV Symptoms09.23.10

HPV Treatment Options: Using a Natural HPV Treatment to Control HPV Symptoms

There are over 130 types of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Of these, about 30-40 strains are transmitted through sexual contact which may result in genital warts or the development of cervical cancer.

In fact, most cases of cervical cancer resulted from an HPV infection. Unfortunately, many of those infected with HPV simply do not know they have the disease, as the virus does not always produce physical symptoms such as genital warts.

The only sure way to detect the presence of HPV is through medical testing such as a Pap test. While the Pap test will reveal abnormal cells which can then be examined to detect HPV, the reality is that millions of women around the world do not have access to gynecological testing facilities. Sadly, despite significant advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of HPV, thousands of women will die each year as a result of this virus.

If you have been diagnosed with HPV, you will be presented with a variety of treatment options by your medical provider including taking prescription medicines. However, you will also have the option of using natural HPV treatments. People choose alternative HPV treatments for a variety of reasons including the expense of prescriptions as well as a personal philosophy that supports holistic treatments.

Whichever the case may be, it is important that you do your research before purchasing any HPV product. It is also important to note that those HPV products which do not list their ingredients on their website should be avoided.

However, before you decide on a treatment, you will need to address your overall health. This includes ensuring that you are avoiding unhealthy activities such as drinking excessive amounts of alcohol and smoking. You will also want to talk to your medical provider about going on a diet and developing a regular exercise routine. This is because the healthier you are, the more your body will be able to control your disease. Once you have established a healthy lifestyle, you are ready to explore a variety of treatment options including using safe, all-natural HPV supplements.

Effective Ingredients

One of the most important things you can do when researching potential natural HPV products is to study the list of ingredients. This is because specific natural ingredients such as Lycopene, Propolis, and Turmeric have been proven to shorten the time that HPV remains in the body.

For example, research shows that women with high levels of Lycopene in their system quickly remove HPV from their body, 8.5 months, on average. This is compared with women who have low levels of Lycopene, in which it takes 11 months on average to remove HPV.

Another example is evident in the healing properties of Turmeric. Multiple studies have proven that Turmeric can help prevent certain kinds of cancer from developing including cervical cancer. Countries like India whose national diet includes curry, which contains Turmeric, experience fewer cases of cancer than other countries do.

Therefore, if you plan to use a safe, all-natural HPV treatment, be sure that it includes these proven ingredients. You may also want to ensure that the supplement includes a variety of vitamins and minerals which have proven to improve the immune system. The healthier the immune system, the more the body will be able to control HPV.

Ive Been Diagnosed With Hpv, I Got Treatment, But The Warts Came Back, What Other Options Do I Have?12.03.09

Ive had the acid treatment to them, and I was even given a prescription gel to remove the warts, they were gone for about a month or so, now they’ve come back and I seem to be growing new ones, is there some other kinda treatment, antibiotics i can look into, to remove them permanently? I read everywhere that your normal immune system can fight them off usually, and I don’t have any kinda of immune disorder or disease, I don’t have HIV, so what’s the problem??
